What is CENTRAL Rat Race?

CENTRAL Rat Race is an exhilarating event aimed at reinforcing Hong Kong and CENTRAL as Asia's leading business district. It is also a fundraising event for MINDSET, a registered charitable organisation that supports mental health-related organisations and projects in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

The inaugural CENTRAL Rat Race was launched in 2006. It was a huge success and raised over HK$2 million for MINDSET. In 2007, CENTRAL Rat Race continued its success and raised over HK$2.23 million for MINDSET and the CENTRAL Rat Race 2008 raised over HK$2.38million. CENTRAL Rat Race 2009 was held on 11th October 2009 and raised HK$1.33 million for Mindset. CENTRAL Rat Race 2009 symbolised Hong Kong's businessmen striving for a better future as they overcome various obstacles while battling the current financial storm. This exhilarating event aimed to generate positive energy and fun to the community. There were different combinations for different races, including the debut of the Junior Rat Race and a new version of the Iron Rat Race. Participants this year were not only limited to executives, but will also included organisations, university students and families, making it a fun-filled event for all of Hong Kong. 2009 Result
