Rat Race runners, wheeling their team mates on a chair, dashed to the finishing line in the inaugural CENTRAL Rat Race 2006. Mr Anthony Nightingale, Chairman of MINDSET, and his fellow ‘Big Rat’ participants set off from the starting line in the inaugural CENTRAL Rat Race 2006.
   
The Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing Limited team shared the joy with Mr Daniel Poon, who received the Best Team Captain Award from Mr Wu Chor Nam, JP, Vice Chairman of Central & Western District Council. Gammon Construction Limited received the Fat Rat Award from Mr Anthony Nightingale, Chairman of MINDSET.
   
The HSBC team won the Rat Gang Award. David Chan Chi-shing of Tanrich Financial Group won the Fancy Rat Award.
   
Mr Raymond Chow, Executive Director of Hongkong Land, presented the Turtle Award to the Jones Day team. Piers Daniel Carlyle Brunner of Colliers International received the Big Rat Race Cup from Mr Chan Tak Chor, JP, Chairman of Central & Western District Council.
   
The fifth winner of Top Five Speedy Rats Awards was Schindler Lifts. The fourth winner of Top Five Speedy Rats Awards was Jardine Aviation Services.
   
Second-runner up for Top Five Speedy Rats Awards was Pizza Hut Hong Kong. First-runner up for Top Five Speedy Rats Awards was Knight Frank Petty.
   
The Rat Race Cup went to The Dairy Farm Group. Mr Nicholas Sallnow-Smith, Chief Executive of Hongkong Land, Mr Anthony Nightingale, Chairman of MINDSET and Mr Simon Bruce, General Manager of ThreeSixty presented the award and congratulated the winning team with a giant cheese. CENTRAL Rat Race 2006 successfully raised more than HK$2 million for MINDSET. Mr Nicholas Sallnow-Smith, Chief Executive of Hongkong Land presented the cheque to Mr Anthony Nightingale, Chairman of MINDSET.
